Bill Hunt has had over forty years of management and leadership experience within the real estate industry and in 2008 he retired in Beijing, China from his role as President of Century 21 China where he had a major role in building the company to become the largest real estate system in China with more than one thousand three hundred offices, twenty thousand agents in thirty two cities. In between his China experiences, he moved to to New Jersey, to the Century 21 Parent Company, Realogy, as Senior Vice President overseeing all of their international operations of more than six thousand offices and fifty thousand agents among five Brands in ninety two countries
Bill spent another twenty years overseas in executive roles within the Century 21 real estate system setting up and operating master franchises in New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Central and South America. In 2008 Bill started his own consulting firm, Bill Hunt Worldwide, to work with USA Franchises seeking to move globally and International Franchisors seeking to enter the North American markets. Bill first met with Chris Heller, CEO, Keller Williams Realty International, in April 2010 in Austin, Texas and in June 2011 he was Chris’s first hire as their International Business Consultant for Keller Williams Worldwide.
Early in 2015, Bill and his wife Gilda formed B & G International LLC to become Principals in opening Keller Williams Costa Rica for the country and along with their partners are building a national real estate franchise throughout the country and promoting expatriate investment/retirement for North Americans.(www.kwcostarica.com)
In addition, Bill and Gilda have also entered the wine industry as one of the owners of Gianni Buonomo Winery in San Diego, California.(www.gbvintners.com). Gianni Buonomo is a boutique winery in Ocean Beach producing a limited production of food friendly wines that are of exceptional depth, distinction and character.
Bill is also an Amazon.com top selling author with his third book entitled INSIGHTS From a Franchise Insider detailing his experiences over the past twenty years in the emerging countries of Latin America and Asia opening real estate Master Franchises was released in July, 2014. Gilda Hunt, is the Chief Operating Officer for B and G International, LLC, which was created with her husband, Bill Hunt, in January of 2015 to house their two other business ventures in real estate and wine industries.
Currently, Gilda is a Principal of the Master Franchise for the country, for Keller Williams Costa Rica ( www.kwcostarica.com) since its launch in 2015, as well as a Director for Gianni Buonomo Vintners and Vineyards (www.gbvintners.com), as an investor and owner when it launched in October 2015.
The fourth member of our team, is Tim Roberts, who joined Keller Williams with the launch of KW Costa Rica in 2015, where he is a Principal of the Master Franchise for the country.
In September, Tim with four other Real Estate professionals opened the first KW Market Center in Costa Rica in Playa Flamingo, Guanacaste where he also enjoys being an agent. In addition, Tim is a Partner and Agent in Costa Rica Beach Properties, the KW Flamingo Market Center which includes Playa Flamingo and Tamarindo and is an Owner of Tourist Information Flamingo along with a partner.
Prior to moving to Costa Rica and joining Keller Williams, Tim had a successful Retail career in the US as a Store, District and Regional Manager, as well as Director of Stores.
After graduating from college with a degree in History from George Mason University he decided to pursue a career in retail versus his original plan of teaching History. His retail career spanned 25 years where he held executive positions with several companies including, VP of Stores for Abercrombie and Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, Weathervane, Motherhood Maternity and Ann Taylor.
Tim’s strategic focus, passion and success has always revolved around creating the “ultimate client experience”. This was achieved through detailed and effective training, motivation, follow up and accountability with his teams. Tim’s mission is to bring his experience in networking, training and client service to KW Costa Rica. His belief system aligns perfectly with Keller Williams and is the primary reason he chose to invest in and join the KW Costa Rica team.
Another member of our team, is our partner and good friend, Allen Lungo. His career spans over many years and began by building his expertise from his education in architecture (Bachelor of Architecture at Carnegie-Mellon, and Master of Architecture at UCLA – specializing in computer-aided design and health facility design), which was followed by business (Master of Business Administration at UCLA, Anderson School – specializing in computers and information systems).
In addition to his educational accomplishments, Allen has been involved in creating and managing 54-person team within Los Angeles County government that was responsible for bringing coordinated management to an inventory of 4000 county facilities encompassing 32 million square feet of space; managing the growth of a small design firm into a 120-person master planning and architectural firm, and its real estate development subsidiary; both specializing in regional health services. He has also been a partner in a bond insurance firm specializing in large capital projects for institutions, and Leading his own interior design/construction consulting company in New York City and Chicago.
In recent years, Allen has been a featured presenter at International Real Estate Congresses in Miami and San Diego, at the Global Theatre in the NAR National Convention, at the Global Forum of the Annual Convention of the Florida Realtors Association, and for educational sessions sponsored by South Bay Realtors near Los Angeles, California, and the Pinellas Realtor Organization for the area including St. Petersburg and Clearwater, Florida. He presented “Costa Rica – Real Estate, Realtors, and Referrals” and “Costa Rica Global Investment Oasis” to encourage investment interest and networking with its real estate professionals. Allen’s love for nature has also led him to promote the responsible growth of Costa Rica by serving on various association boards for management of water resources and mountain development.
Currently, Allen holds many titles and positions in real estate. Keller Williams Costa Rica – CEO/Operating Principal for the Master Franchise team building the Keller Williams Franchise Network across Costa Rica.
